Helpful answers

Before your visit.

What if I don’t know what to book?

Start with a complimentary skin consultation. Bring your questions and tell your provider what you’d like to address. You don’t need to arrive with a treatment already chosen.

What’s the difference between a facial and a peel?

A facial can combine several skincare steps, such as cleansing, hydration, and exfoliation. A chemical peel uses a selected solution to exfoliate skin at a specific depth. Your provider can explain which approach suits your skin and recovery preferences.

Will my skin visibly peel?

It depends on the peel and your skin’s response. Redness, dryness, flaking, or visible peeling may occur. Ask about expected recovery before treatment, and follow your provider’s aftercare.

Can I book before a special event?

Tell your provider the date before booking. Allow time to understand how your skin responds, especially with a new treatment or peel. Your provider can recommend appropriate timing.

What should I tell my provider?

Share your skincare routine, medicines, allergies, recent treatments, sun exposure, and any pregnancy or breastfeeding plans. Mention sensitive skin, cold sores, or previous pigment changes. Ask which products to pause rather than changing your routine on your own.

Are there risks with a chemical peel?

Risks depend on the peel and include irritation, pigment changes, infection, and scarring. Your provider will review suitability, preparation, and aftercare before you decide.
