Frequently Asked Questions

  • There is a sensation of a warm rubber band snapping the skin, but most clients agree that because the treatment is so fast and because we use ice pretreatment as well as during and post treatment, any discomfort is short lived and very tolerable.

  • The laser light pulse is absorbed by the ink of your tattoo which causes the ink to shatter into tiny particles which can then be carried away by your body's immune system.

  • Not all of the ink can be shattered in one treatment. The ink is shattered one layer at a time.

  • It takes time for the body to flush away all the ink that was broken up from the laser treatment.
